4. Wipe the body with a towel to remove the sweat.
5. You have to be advised from staff of the need to slow, possibly not too deep breathing by a surgical mask - a breath to be two times shorter than the exhalation; quick and very substantial cooling of the respiratory tract may lead to the cramp of respiratory bronchiolus and difficulty in breathing.
6. You must first enter the pre - chamber, where there is a temperature of about -60 º C. After about 30 to 45 seconds after adaptation of body to low temperatures, go to the main chamber, where the temperature reaches -110 to -130 º C. Length of stay in the main chamber lasts from 2 to 3 minutes and is selected individually for each patient. The treatment throughout is supervised by a physiotherapist.
7. During the stay in the chamber you should move about in place vigorously or walk.
8. Do not lean against the walls or touch the other patients.
9. The signal for the immediate interruption of the procedure is: pale, skin bruising, pain or patient discomfort.
10. After leaving the cryogenic chamber is a must to warm up your body by doing adequate physical exercises (known as kinesitherapy). This is necessary to bring treatment to the desired therapeutic effect. Kinesitherapy is conducted under the guidance of a physiotherapist. Usually lasts 20-30 minutes. By obtaining the analgesic effect of cryotherapy, patients are able to make much greater range of motion in the joints and the more effective rehabilitation is conducted immediately after the whole body cryotherapy.
The best effects of cryotherapy give the series of 15 to 20 procedures.
The health-improvement course composes 10-15 sessions during 2-3 weeks
